Two reasons I should have seen it coming...

First indication that my luck was running out:
This morning driving to work on Rosedale Highway a guy in a beat up mini truck nearly rear ended me. He stopped in the nick of time and I thought, "Thank god, cause that dude does NOT look insured!"

(First thing Joan the red light runner said to me after the crash was, "Don't worry I'm fully insured!")

Second, and most important, indication that disaster was nigh:
Before I set off for errands, I went to get a Diet Pepsi. I put my dollar in but the machine was sold out (sacrilege in my world!) I pushed the button to get my money back, which almost never happens. And sure enough! My quarters started popping out. I scooped them up and saw that I had one extra quarter. SCORE!
I thought, "I wonder if this is the best luck I'll have all day."

Yeah, that pretty much used up ALL the luck I was gonna have today!
