Del stuff

Ok, quickly, here's the Del update:
Saw him at 5:50 a.m. today, 6/15/06. I was out running with the girls and saw him pushing his bike to his spot. I ran up to him and said hello. Mind you, he's only ever seen me in a bike helmet and sunglasses, so I looked a lot different. He was still very sleepy and obviously confused. I had to say my name several times and I'm not sure he understood who I was.

Anyway, the day before, Wednesday, 6/14/06, I chatted with him on my way home from work and he was upbeat, watching the freeway. He said he'd be there probably a month more. But he claims there's no secret mission that I'll "know about when it happens." Now he is sticking to his, "it's for relaxing," story.

And he admitted he sleeps in the parks sometimes. I asked how his family feels about that. "Fine, fine," he said.
