That ain't nuthin!

So here's Mr. Goodcarma's "badcarma" tales of woe.

I really think I have him beat...besides he tops it off with a goodcarma tale of all ages! One that would NEVER work for me!!

Oh I had badcarma too. For instance the day I decided to brave an at grade crossing between Truxtun and California Ave for the first time in three years. I cross the intersection of Truxtun, heading south and committing myself to the effort -- just as the train arms come down. No worries, I think. I will wait it out. I proceed to sit there for 10 minutes until the end of the train is in sight. Of course, THAT is when the train decides to come to a complete halt and just sit there, blocking the intersection.

Or how about just a few minutes ago where I get stuck behind a car waiting to make a left turn (on a street without a left turn lane.) The car sits there waiting for traffic to clear in the opposite direction. Forever! Then at the last minute they give up and drive through the intersection -- just in time for them to make it, but to leave me stuck behind the red light. And to top it off? The car gets in the left turn lane at the next street and IMMEDIATELY gets a green arrow. Meanwhile it took me another 10 minutes to get through the intersection cause of that jackass.

Of course I also had goodcarma on Thanksgiving day when I had to drive somewhere after drinking about 6-7 beers. At one point a cop pulls behind me and I am thinking, "I am driving a car with expired registration, I left my wallet at home and I am totally buzzed. I am going to jail on Thanksgiving." But I didn't. The cop drove by and I even waved at him!
